This is yet another corner snow mound on Sibley east of Dee.
This isn't the typical continuous ridge of snow that street plows push off to the side. Snow was pushed into mounds on these corners as if it were part of some primitive post-apocalyptic defensive works, the purpose of which was specifically to prevent people from getting onto the sidewalks at the corners. You may be thinking this was the result of an intermediate step in some larger snow removal process. Not so: when I checked a week and a half later, nothing had been removed.
