This is a bush/tree on Dee, overhanging the sidewalk at eye level. As you can see, it has vicious thorns. I wonder what the common name of the species is--something like "spike for shoving through your enemy's eye clear back into his brain plant," I'll bet. Just wait until the gang members get the idea of doing drivebys where they lean out the car window and swipe at their enemies with branches of this stuff! I'm not really happy with the idea of dragging my eyes past thorns like that when I'm walking.
