This is that deciduous hedge that I mentioned in the previous photo, that was trimmed severely but still sticks out a lot. Trouble with planting a hedge so close to the sidewalk and letting it grow uncontrolled is that it really gets hacked up if you ever decide to cut it back to where it belongs. If you did that to this one it would be very unhappy, or worse.
